Tags : None Well, here's our new home on Yuku, please bare with me over the next few weeks tweaking things to get the board working properly again. I hope everyone likes the new home, and that I'm always open to suggestions. Also, I'd be glad to hear your thoughts on a possible name change from Balamb SeeD Garden to Scotty Chan, or do you feel that just stating "Part Of The Scotty Chan Network" would be sufficient? As you may know, originally there was Balamb, Galbadia, and Trabia, and these names were given because I was stuck on a name for the forum-board. I just want to thank each and ever member; past, present, and future, for their continued support, you guys rock! I could dream forever, and never stop, I could think of life and beauty, the stars that fade in the sky, the hearts of lovers, the dreams of dreamers.

Incidently, I've decided to keep it as Balamb SeeD Garden, unless SquareEnix has some problems with it, (even though I can legally use the name under Fair Use regulations, I'll change it to Scotty Chan to avoid any complications). I'll be honest, I preferred the "keep it super simple" aspect of EzBoard, so really, none of us had a choice in the matter, but hopefully after a while I'll get used to the new layout, and work out things, such as getting the member titles to display correctly. Just give me a few weeks, and I'll do what I can, at the moment I'm working on updating the custom titles and such too, the problem is manually searching 154 members and updating the custom titles, (as well as trying to get a status title to show, and a member title). It's a combination dealio, I want it to show the rank, and also the member title, (I think Allison has this on the help forums or something). So for example, for me, it'd show: Administrator Posts: xxxx Post Date (IP) Custom Member Title. The irony here Steph, is that I was actually invited to the Alpha before it went public, (meaning I been here longer than you, tee-hee), Steven DeMello invited me, but I don't think he's part of the company anymore, to be honest, I still say they got rid of all the wrong people during the take-over, I remember the good old days where Vanchau Nguyen actually used to take the time to talk to each of us personally about any issues raised. Alright Scotty, On the IP: admin>>community settings>>security>> click on the show IP to admins or the show IP to admins & mods and then submit On the auto titles & for the title of admin or mod to show: admin>>members>>auto titles>> check off the status titles, click edit & enter the title for the admins & the title for mods & save changes. auto titles by member count, kudo's & length of membership are done on the same page. On the custom titles: admin>>member>> Now you can click 'all' 'admin' or 'moderators' >>click on the users name that you want to edit/add the custom title>> click 'edit' on the custom title>>save changes & make sure that the custom title box is checked off admin>>members>> admins/or moderators>>click on each persons name & make sure that the auto title & the custom title boxes are checked off. admin>>community settings>>display preferances>> make sure auto title is checked off , along with the post count....etc & submit They show up in this order under the avatar: Admin Moderator (Sometimes the admins will have both show up.) auto title by member count (if enabled) auto title by membership length (if enabled) auto title by kudo (if enabled) posts post date (IP) Custom title Mish invited me when it was still in ALPHA.
